The Society of Shiki is an association of those who support Shiki Theatre Company. Founded at the same time of the Japan premiere of CATS in 1983, the Society, now holding over 176,000 members, has become the source of energy for Shiki Theatre Company. Shiki Theatre Company has its home theatres in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka, which collectively stage 3,000 performances a year, aiming to create the stages that live up to the audiences' expectations and introduce theatre arts to various communities. (Please note that, for the moment, members of The Society of Shiki are all residents in Japan.)

1.	Easy reservation
	Tickets will be delivered to you by post, free of postage. Payments will be made via automatic debit transfer from your designated bank account.
2.	Monthly newsletter, La Harpe
	You will receive a copy of our newsletter La Harpe each month, which contains the production information and backstage stories, which helps you enjoy our shows even more.
3.	Favorable pre-order
	We offer a favorable pre-order service exclusively to the members. You can reserve the tickets for yourself, your family and friends, ahead of the release at the box office. The maximum purchase per month is 200,000 yen. With certain arrangement, the limit can be raised up to 400,000 yen per month. Also, if there remain enough vacant seats, you have priority to reserve the seats on the immediately preceding day of the performance.
4.	Ticket discount
	You can enjoy 1,050 yen off S-seat price for our general performances (excluding weekday matinees).
5.	Member's card and handbook
	The Society of Shiki member's card and the original handbook will be delivered to you upon your admission to the Society.
6.	Mail order service for the original goods
	Only the members can purchase the original goods by mail order. Payments will be made via automatic debit transfer from your designated bank account.
7.	Other discounts
	The Society of Shiki offers its members discount rates for our child-care service and hotel & show packages.

How to be a Member of The Society

1.	Through the Internet
	(1)  Fill in the application form with blue or black ball point pen, following the instructions on the sample form. Also, fill in the application for the account transfer with ball point pen and put your seal impression used for the bank account. Make all corrections by ball point pen and put seal impression on such amendment, rather than whiting them out. *For those who are under 18, register with a bank account of your parent or the like. *Make sure the account holder fill in the application form in person. *Enclose both the application forms for the membership and for bank account transfer, and send by post. *Your bank account should be at a head bank or branch bank located in Japan. Please note that accounts at certain banks will not be accepted. (2)  Post the application form with 80yen stamp affixed on the envelope to the following address. Temporary card for an associate member will be delivered to you by post in about ten days upon our receipt of your application form. Until your application is processed as a full membership, you will have access to the Advanced Pre-Order service by telephone only. (Please note that the benefits such as pre-order via the Internet, 24-hour automatic reservation service or membership discount would NOT be applicable to an associate member.) (4)  You will later be registered as a full member. The initial admission fee and annual fee will be automatically transferred from your designated bank account on the first day of the next month to the following month of the receipt of application. The member's card and handbook will be delivered to you at the end of the immediately preceding month of the registration as a full member. For the application forms received on or before 9th day of each month, a full membership will start on the first day of the following month (e.g., For the application forms that are received by April 9, the full membership will be granted from May1.). The initial admission fee is 1,575 yen and the annual fee, 2,100 yen (tax included). (5)  The term of membership is one year. Unless we receive your withdrawal notice by the expiration date, your membership will be automatically renewed.

	You will find sample copies of our newsletter La Harpe at The Society of Shiki counter inside each theatre. You can get application booklets as well as apply for membership at the counter.
